- Wardrobe Content & Photos: Photos of clothing pieces that you take or upload are stored securely in your encrypted personal cloud storage so you can access your closet anywhere.
- Style & Sizing Preferences: Sizing defaults (top, bottom, shoes) and style tastes (Casual, Formal, Smart Casual, Party) that you choose to personalize daily outfit recommendations.
- Approximate Location (Weather): We detect your general city via IP network strictly to provide real-time weather-appropriate outfit advice. We do not track precise GPS coordinates or background location.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate smart, weather-calibrated daily outfit recommendations.
- To remember what outfits you wore and prevent repeating identical looks within your chosen timeframe.
- To sync your digitized wardrobe seamlessly across your devices.
- To securely authenticate your account and safeguard your wardrobe data.
3. Third-Party Services & Storage
We work with trusted industry-standard infrastructure providers:
- Supabase: For secure database management, user authentication, and encrypted cloud synchronization.
- Google AI (Gemini Vision) & Groq: For optional, privacy-respecting clothing category auto-tagging. Your personal identity is never sent with image analysis.
4. Data Ownership & Deletion
You have full ownership of your data. You can edit or delete any clothing piece from your wardrobe at any time directly in the app. To request complete deletion of your account and all associated wardrobe files, please contact us at the email below.
5. Children's Privacy
OutfitTap is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
